What You Need To Know Before Hiring Private Home Health Care
1. Their Hiring Process
Angel Homecare understands it can be hard letting someone you don't know in your home. That's why we conduct a criminal background check on all personnel. All employees are thoroughly interviewed, screened and must pass a clinical skills test. They also must maintain two references, must have at least two years experience in their profession and are compassionate, loyal, trustworthy and caring individuals.
2. What Liability Coverage Is There?
Angel Homecare maintains full coverage of Worker's Compensation, Taxes (Social Security, State & Federal) and Professional/General Liability and Bonded.
3. How Are Their Healthcare Professionals Supervised?
Angel Homecare health care professionals are closely supervised by a Registered Nurse, as well as administrative staff, who make sure clients continue to receive high-quality care. Our caregivers and case managers work together to monitor progress or changes in the client's health and lifestyle. Any change in the client's health is immediately reported to family or physician so that the proper steps can be taken. Angel Homecare also performs in-home supervisions and quality assurance visits.
4. Can They Provide References?
Angel Homecare would be happy to provide references of past and present clients. We are proud of our affiliations and accreditations throughout the community. We work closely with many organizations that provide services to our clientele and participate in partnerships so that we may provide our clients with the most up-to-date information to assist them in their decisions regarding homecare.
5. Are Healthcare Professionals Available 24 Hours A Day, 7 Days A Week?
Angel Homecare offers health care professionals 24/7. In addition, there is no extra charge for nights or weekends. Angel Homecare also guarantees that your loved one will be provided with care for the time that has been scheduled.
